I am a proud ferret owner.
I know jack squat about photography, but I try anyway. I really love taking pictures of my ferrets and other people's ferrets.
Once we get to Connecticut I plan on taking more pictures.
I currently borrow other people's cameras, so I'll need my own soon lol.
My babies are Nightshade, Oak, Clover, Tumbleweed, Larkspur, Actinite, Locus and Shamrock.
Most are rescues from abusive/neglectful homes.
I've brought other ferrets into my home as well for short periods of time and after rehabilitating them, finding them a home. :)

First off lemmie answer a question I've been getting in notes alot, No. My ferrets are not tempted with treats to pose.
I give them treats in the end, yes, but I let them explore the set and pose naturally.
Distractions are actually my best friend, a car goes by and that causes the dook to look and pay attention to that, which is the perfect time to focus and snap a picture.
My guys are huge camera hams.
Would i use treats? Yeah sure, but I haven't been xD;

HOW DO YOU SURVIVE WITH ALL THOSE FERRETS!? I have one ferret right now and I can barely keep up with her. She wakes up at exactly 4:30 AM every morning, and if I don't get up right that second she gets angry and destroys her entire four and a half foot cage! Empties her water bottle, flips her food bowl, rips her ladders out, flips her litter box, digs, tears her hammock and kicks out bedding. You really can't take your eyes off a ferret for second, or else they get into something crazy. She's may be a temperamental little thing, but I still love my Cracker.
I love your ferrets...They're very wonderful creatures aren't they? ^^
